Why the cost is confirmed later
Handmade pieces vary in size and packaging. Couriers may charge using whichever is higher: actual packed weight or volumetric weight. Confirming the parcel and destination avoids hiding an inflated flat fee in every product price.
What the quote includes
The quote should name the courier/service, shipping charge, tracking availability, and expected dispatch window. Optional services such as insurance, proof of delivery, or COD must be agreed separately.
